WESTLAND CONFERENCE & LEISURE COMPLEX
The Westland Leisure and Conference Centre
occupies some acres and is situated to the
western edge of the town of Yeovil.
Access to the club is via a slightly restricted
residential area in Westbourne Close Yeovil (see
map on the main club page. Once within the
premises the entrance opens up to a series of
wide and capacious car parks capable of holding
approximately 400 cars.
Immediately to the right hand side on entering the
site is the horticultural club and the large Sports
Hall.
The road leads through the car park with tennis
courts and the Bowls Club also on the right.
Crossing a small stream you will enter the main
car park the large main club building will now be
evident at the far end of the large car park.
Also situated on this site are football and cricket
pitches, allotments, rifle range, model engineering
facilities (model train track) and several buildings
housing various club features (for example the
sub-aqua club boat).
Within the main building is the famous Westland
Ballroom and stage, two large bars, two additional
function rooms, catering facilities, table tennis and
snooker rooms and the club offices .
